BODY & WELLBEING
Strong for the life you’re building
THE OPENING CONVERSATION
You cannot separate the life you are called to live from the body that has to live it. Vision may be spiritual, intellectual, or economic, but it will still make physical demands on you. Your body has to sustain the years, the work, the pressure, the movement, and the responsibility attached to that life.
A neglected body can eventually become a barrier. It can affect how long you can work, how clearly you can think, how freely you can move, and how consistently you can show up. Caring for your health is therefore not cosmetic. It is part of making sure your physical life is able to support the future you are trying to build.
FOOD CLASSIFICATION
Different foods play different roles in keeping you nourished. Getting to know those roles makes everyday meals easier to put together.

Start with an energy food, add a protein food and some fruit or vegetables. For example, oats, yoghurt and a banana.
Bring together a starch or grain, protein and vegetables. For example, rice, beans and a side of greens.
Make room for protein, vegetables and a satisfying energy food. For example, fish or tofu, potatoes and vegetables.

A BODY CHECK IN
BMI compares weight with height. It can be one useful screening measure for adults, but it cannot tell you your fitness, body composition or overall health.
How to read the number
For adults age 20 and older only. BMI is not a diagnosis and the standard adult scale is not for children, teens or pregnancy. If the number raises a concern, speak with a qualified clinician rather than changing your eating or exercise based on it alone. About adult BMI categories from the CDC.
PERSONAL SUPPORT
Physiotherapy support for movement, recovery and physical wellbeing.
